Preparation and care of the deceased - Minnesota state law does not require embalming, required only under certain circumstances.  However, if a visitation is arranged, embalming is needed as a company policy.

Filing necessary documents - The death certificate is an important legal document that is needed for closing accounts, insurance policies and other transactions.

Social Security - The funeral home staff will inform social security of the death and provide you with information regarding applying for benefits.

Co-ordination of services in church or mortuary - The funeral home staff will administrate and direct funeral services at any church that is desired, or at our funeral home.

Use of vehicles - The funeral home will provide all automotive needs; vehicle for initial transfer of deceased, hearse to the cemetery, and errand vehicles including a car for the family and casket bearers to the church and cemetery if needed.

Additional staff to direct visitation and services - We will provide staff to greet and usher friends and family during the visitation.  The visitation is an important time during the funeral service.  The visitation provides the opportunity for friends to show their support for all to grasp the fact that death has occurred.  Many of our chapels have small family rooms available so that family can step away for a short time during the visitation for rest and refreshments.

Additional Arrangements - The funeral home staff can order flowers, arrange for luncheon either at your church or facility, and call casket bearers.  We can assist you in lending a personal touch to the service, offering the ability to use pictures of the loved one on the funeral folders, arrange for bagpipers, and balloon release or dove release at the cemetery.

Veteran's Services - We will contact Veteran's Services to report the death of a Veteran and arrange for flags and government markers.

Markers and Monuments - We can assist you in designing and ordering a marker or monument.
