Helen was my Godmother and never forgot my birthday. She always sent a card and frequently called. She will be missed? I’m so sorry for your family’s loss.
Sue J says
Hi. My name is Sue (John Hengy’s daughter) and I worked with Helen at St. Mary’s Hospital in Minneapolis. What a great lady and hard worker. I am so sorry to hear of her death. I have thought of her multiple times over the years. The great ones leave a lasting memories in our hearts and minds. I wish you all, God’s love and peace at this difficult time. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make the visitation or funeral, but I will ask Mary Palo to find out the date and time of interment at Fort Snelling. I would love to be there if it is not a private event.
Mark & Martha Santelman says
Helen has been a wonderful, wonderful neighbor to us for the past 15 years. She always knew the names of our six children and their age order and she regularly asked about the ones that grew up and moved away. Helen was a witty and delightful human being. We will miss her deeply. Yet, we know from her own confession of faith that Helen is with her Savior, Jesus Christ in eternity. From all of us, Mark, Martha, Sarah, Amy, Beth, Mary Kate, Christina, and David.
