Keith Bradley Williams was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania October 8, 1962, the son of Stewart and Nancy (Loomis) Williams of Montgomery, AL. He was baptized as an infant and confirmed in the Presbyterian Church. Keith graduated J.I. Case High School, Racine, Wisconsin in 1980, and received a degree in Aviation Management from Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana. Aviation was Keith’s passion.
Keith met Virginia Lee “Ginny” Penk in 1991 on an airplane – he was her pilot – and they were united in marriage February 6, 1993 in Melbourne, Florida. During their marriage they lived in Missouri, Florida, Georgia, Illinois and finally Cincinnati, Ohio. Keith always loved Minnesota, especially the Boundary Waters and considered Stewart and the surrounding area “home”.
Keith began his career in the aviation industry with McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis as a program manager on the F16 jet program. He later achieved his dream of becoming a commercial airline pilot and flew as a first officer for TWA’s commuter carrier. He later worked as a program manager for Rockwell-Collins Aviation. After leaving aviation as a profession, Keith worked in the high-tech industry in account management roles, and was later self-employed as a trader.
Keith was a kind, sweet, and gentle soul. He had many friends - in every state and around the globe – and was tagged by all who knew him as “the nicest guy you’ll ever meet”. His interests were varied: he was an artist, avid tennis/racquetball player, and volunteered for park beautification efforts for the Cincinnati Parks Department. He loved to read and share new facts, knowledge, and theories with others. He loved a good joke and he never said no to an ice cream cone.
Keith is survived by his wife Virginia, his parents Stewart and Nancy Williams of Montgomery, Alabama, his sister-in-law Anna (Ornano) Williams of St. Louis, Missouri, and numerous family and friends, all of whom he adored.
Keith was preceded in death by his brother S. Mark Williams of St Louis, Missouri, his grandparents Haydn and Louise (Rolfe) Williams of Oxford, Ohio, and Willard and Helen (Corson) Loomis of Canton, Ohio.
