Thomas Novak, age 62, formerly of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018, at VA Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 4th, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at Church of St. Pius X in Glencoe, Minnesota, with interment following at the Glencoe Catholic Cemetery in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 4th, 2018, from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M., two hours prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Tom was born July 9, 1955 in Glencoe, MN to Helen and Thomas Novak. He attended Glencoe High School and graduated in ’73. He also received his B.A. at Mankato State University. Tom enlisted in the Navy as a photographer and was stationed in the Philippines. After the military he had a successful career in Human Resources. Tom loved being outdoors. He enjoyed the summer golfing, fishing and boating. During the winter he enjoyed snowmobiling, ice fishing and visiting his brother in Arizona. He was a wonderful father, loving grandfather and would go out of his way to help anyone.
Tom was preceded in death by his loving father Thomas Novak; mother, Helen Novak; beloved sister, Nancy Hagberg.
He is survived by his son, David (Amy); grandson, Hunter; brother, Charlie (Gretchen); and a host of nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

So sorry to hear about Tom at the VA, and his passing.
I had the pleasure of knowing Tom through Catholic Grade School at St.Pius(and survived the hauntings of the Nuns!).
And with Tom was part of the great GHS Class of ’73! Go Eagles!!
