Aaron Alsleben, age 71, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019, at Cedar Crest Estates in Silver Lake, Minnesota.
Private Family Memorial Service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Obituary
Aaron Edwin Alsleben was born on February 12, 1948, in Glencoe, Minnesota. He was the son of Ernest and Lorene (Penk) Alsleben. Aaron was baptized as an infant on March 7, 1948, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota, and later was confirmed in his faith as a youth on June 10, 1962, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota. He received his education in Glencoe, graduating from Stevens Seminary.
On February 22, 1969, Aaron was united in marriage to Carol Randt in Watertown, South Dakota. Aaron and Carol made their home in Glencoe. Their life was blessed with two children, Brenda and Darron. Aaron and Carol shared over 50 years of marriage.
Aaron was a lifelong farmer. He also was a DHIA supervisor for McLeod County. Aaron lived for farming. He enjoyed dancing to old time music, snowmobiling with his Artic Cat and participated in tractor pulls winning numerous trophies. Aaron cherished the time spent with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
Aaron passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at Cedar Crest Estates in Silver Lake, Minnesota, at the age of 71 years, 1 month and 26 days.
