Service Information
Bruce Lentz, age 60, of Stewart, Minnesota, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018, as a result of an accident near Stewart.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 22, 2018, at 3:00 P.M. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stewart.
Visitation will be Saturday at church for one hour prior to the service.
Obituary
Bruce Arlo Lentz was born November 30, 1958, in New Ulm, Minnesota, the son of August and Ardella (Hopp) Lentz. He was baptized as an infant at St. John Lutheran Church in Fairfax, Minnesota, and was confirmed in his faith there as a youth. Bruce attended public school in Fairfax.
Bruce lived in the Stewart area throughout his adult life. He was employed with Hector Farms, and enjoyed farming and agriculture. His most recent employment was with Miller Manufacturing in Glencoe.
On August 5, 2000, Bruce was united in marriage to Wanda Krippner at their farm. He gained a stepdaughter, Patricia, and was blessed with two sons, Jacob and Brian. They made their home in Stewart.
An outdoorsman, Bruce enjoyed hunting and fishing. He took great care in his yard and garden, and liked planting flowers.
Bruce passed away as a result of a car accident on Monday evening, December 17, 2018, having reached the age of 60 years. Blessed be his memory.
Bruce is survived by his:
Wife, Wanda Lentz of Stewart, Minnesota;
Stepdaughter, Patricia Krippner of Hutchinson, Minnesota;
Sons, Jacob Lentz and Brian Lentz, both of Stewart, Minnesota;
Granddaughters: Hayle Krippner of Hutchinson, Minnesota, and Arya Lentz of Appleton, Minnesota;
Grandsons: Jayden Krippner of Glencoe, Minnesota, and Jesse Belcher of Hutchinson, Minnesota;
Brothers: Marvin Lentz and his Wife, Judy, of Danube, Minnesota, and Randy Lentz of Montevideo, Minnesota;
nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Bruce was preceded in death by his Parents, Mother-in-law, Eileen Krippner, and his Nephew, Dean Lentz.
