Delores L. Buss, age 87, of Glencoe, Minnesota, formerly of Denver, Colorado, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018, 2:00 P.M. at the Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe, Minnesota, with interment at a later date at the Glencoe City Cemetery in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018, from 1:00-2:00 P.M., one hour prior the service at the chapel.
Obituary
Delores Lena Buss was born on May 28, 1930, in Glencoe, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Fred and Matie (Kikhafer) Buss. Delores was baptized as an infant at First Lutheran Church in Glencoe by Reverend Klobe, and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth. She started her schooling at First Lutheran School in Glencoe and graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1947.
Delores worked as a receptionist for Dr. Peterson in Hutchinson. In the early 1950’s, Delores moved to Denver, Colorado, and worked for several doctors. She most recently worked as an accountant at Coastal Oil Corporation in Denver, Colorado. Delores became sick and decided to return home to Glencoe to be near her family on December 17, 2017.
Delores enjoyed traveling with a group of people all over the world. She also enjoys crafts, especially knitting. Delores knitted over 1000 caps for cancer patients in Alexandria, Minnesota. She cherished the time spent with her friends and family.
Delores passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 27 days.

Brother, Lowell Buss of New Hope, MN;

Many other relatives and friends.
Delores is preceded in death by her Parents, Fred and Matie Buss; and Brother-In-Law, Wally Sylwester.
