Service Information
Dorothy Hagen, age 93, of Fairfax passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018, at the Fairfax Community Home.
Funeral Service will be Friday, October 26, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at Central Lutheran Church, Camp Township, Renville County, Minnesota, with interment in Hauges Cemetery, Camp Township, Renville County, Minnesota, at a later date.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Friday at the church.
Obituary
Dorothy Ann Hagen was born on June 28, 1925, in Lamberton, Minnesota. She was the daughter of John and Ethel (Larsen) Becker. Dorothy was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth. She received her education at Lamberton Public High School.
On September 10, 1946, Dorothy was united in marriage to Lester Herman Hagen at the Parsonage in Lamberton. After their marriage, the couple resided on their farm in Camp Township, rural Fairfax. Dorothy was a loving mother and homemaker, and also did housekeeping for Central Lutheran Church and Hauser Funeral Chapel, retiring in 2010. Dorothy and Lester were blessed with six children and they shared 48 years of marriage before Lester passed away in July, 1995.
Dorothy was a member of Central Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid.
Dorothy enjoyed sewing, gardening, house cleaning, baking, quilting, bowling and dancing. She enjoyed the time she spent with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
When she needed assistance with her daily care, Dorothy became a resident of the Country View Assisted Living in July of 2016. A recent fall caused her brief stay at the Community Home. Blessed be her memory.

Sisters, Charlotte Salfer of Wabasso, MN, and Jeanette Dey and her husband, Gordon of New Ulm, MN;
Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her Parents, John and Ethel Becker; Husband, Lester Hagen; Sister, Margie Riederer; Brothers, Eugene Becker, Christ Becker, Faye Becker, and John Becker Jr.; Son-In-Law, Erlin Doering; Grandson, Lee Doering; and Great Granddaughter, Kayla Gratz.
