Doris & family,
I was a classmate of Woody’s, Class of ’62 at Appleton. My husband Jon & I fondly remembering stopping at the German Restaurant & dining there several times, always graciously being greeted by Woody & enjoying the superb cuisine which was your forte. Gave us fond memories of our 1 1/2 yrs in Germany in the early 70’s.
Our sincere condolences.

So sorry to hear about Woody’s passing. He was a sweet man. My husband and I became quite fond of him. We were sad to hear he went into nursing home, had planned on visiting him. We were his neighbors and tried to keep eye on him… to make sure he was ok. Last time he visited us, he brought me 3M scotch tape. And I got to pray with him. So glad we got to know him.
God bless you, you have our deepest sympathy.
