Jim says
Aunt Eunice was the last of my parents generation. We lived in Viking, Minnesota and Warren and Stephen were a short driving distance where we went many Sundays to visit. Aunt Eunice, Uncle Harry and my cousins have always played an important part of my growing up and led me my Christian values.
We love you Eunice and all your family. Jim and Rose
Elizabeth Mayo says
Eunice was an amazing woman of God! She blessed everyone who came into her house. She also wrote beautiful birthday letters yearly. Her penmanship was elegant and reminded me of my Grandmas. (I am sure it helped slightly that my Grandma was one of her teachers – but I believe it probably was the way they were taught to write – something that is lost in the generations).
Eunice taught me the family secret (not sure if it was a secret 🙂 ) of making lefse. For several seasons I have used that skill to make around 800+ pieces of lefse as a fundraiser to bring clean water to people in Africa.
Every time you called, she made you feel special like that phone call made her day. She will never be forgotten is will be missed greatly! Christ’s love radiated through her smile!
