Dan Steed says
My thoughts and prayers are with Greg and his family and friends. I first met Greg in the early 70s through a mutual friend while he was attending Southern Illinois University. We were both Vietnam veterans who shared some mutual interests including music and comics. After he left Illinois we lost contact with each other until reconnecting a few years ago. Those are now fond memories and I know he will be missed by all those who loved him.

Patti Pollmann says
Please accept my sincere sympathy on Greg’s death. Greg and my brother, Jim Davis, were friends when the Waible family lived in New Baden, and I was a little girl when Greg & Jim were friends. My brother Jim passed away in 1984. I remember Greg & the Waibel family living on South Railway Avenue. What a nice family. May the angels lead Greg into paradise. Sincerely, Patti (Bann) Pollmann
