Jeff Pomplun, age 54, of Gaylord passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at his home in rural Gaylord.
Memorial Services will be Friday, February 9, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at the United Church of Christ in Gaylord.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be Thursday, February 8, 2018, from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. and will continue one hour prior to the service, all at the church.
Obituary
Jeff Edward Pomplun was born on September 2, 1963, in Arlington, Minnesota. He was the son of Melvin and Patricia (Hoffman) Pomplun. Jeff was baptized as an infant on October 13, 1963, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Gaylord. He received his education in Arlington and was a 1982 graduate of the Arlington High School.
On June 23, 1984, Jeff was united in marriage to Sandra Albers at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in New Hope, Minnesota. After their marriage, the couple resided in rural Arlington and then rural Gaylord. Jeff was self-employed and a stay at home Dad. This marriage was blessed with three sons, William, Anthony, and Ethan. Jeff and Sandra shared 34 years of marriage.
Jeff was a member of the United Church of Christ in Gaylord.
Jeff enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and restoring tractors. He cherished the time he spent with his family.
Jeff passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at his home in rural Gaylord at the age of 54 years. Blessed be his memory.

Siblings, Anita Swanson and her husband, David of Glencoe, MN, and Patrick Pomplun and his wife, Patricia of Evansville, MN;
Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law, Henry and Melva Albers of Winthrop, MN;
Sister-In-Law, Lisa Krumwiede and her husband, Kent of Ashby, MN;
Brother-In-Law, David Albers and his wife, Misty of Winthrop, MN;
Many Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his Niece, Faith Krumwiede; Grandparents, Ella and Edward Pomplun and Alma and Fred Hoffman.
