Lisa Jane (Unruh) Krengel, 57, went to heaven to be with her Savior on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019. Visitation will be Friday, May 3, 2019, 4-8 pm at the Great Hall at the Crow River Winery near Hutchinson, MN. A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 10 am, with an additional visitation one hour before the service at Elim Mission Church in Cokato. Lisa was born April 11, 1962, to Ernie and Shirley (Garvue) Unruh in Robbinsdale, MN. She grew up in Maple Grove and graduated from Osseo High School and Concordia College in St. Paul. She went on to teach 3rd and 4th grade at Our Savior’s Lutheran School in Hutchinson MN for 13 years.
She married Quentin Krengel on June 21, 1997, and they were blessed with two children, Caitlin and Joshua. Her passion was her kids as she helped mold their hearts through homeschooling. As a family, they were able to travel together and many times share those trips with friends and extended family.
Another passion was being a Leader in doTERRA. Her leadership in doTERRA influenced many people to live healthy and beautiful lives. She was not only a wealth of information on essential oils but also an inspiration on living life fully. She loved learning and using what she learned to empower the people around her.
Above all, Lisa was most passionate about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He made her a creative and giving soul, who would help anyone out whether it was providing them with a place to stay or giving someone a gift “just because.” She had a knack for creating simple beauty and it was evident when you stepped through the front door of her home.
Lisa will be deeply missed by her husband, Quentin; children, Caitlin and Joshua, siblings Stephen (Julie) Unruh, Linda Okafor, mother-in-law Reve Krengel, sisters-in-law Dawn (Dan) Fandrich, Lori Bartell, brother-in-law Dana (Kim) Krengel, many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins and many extended family and friends.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Ernie and Shirley Unruh.
Memorials can be directed to the Theios Foundation at 2000 Mallory Lane, Suite 103-545 Franklin, TN 37067.

Quentin, we were very sorry to hear of Lisa’s passing. There are no words that can replace her on this earth but take comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain and is probably dancing with the King of Kings right now. If there is anything we can do let us know. We are here for you.

Quentin,
Lisa was an amazing woman, who will be leaving a lasting impact on me. I will always remember her smiling and joyous even though she was hurting. A great example of “Running a Good Race” and most importantly she finished strong in her faith. That was an amazing testimony to me. I will miss my sister in Christ and look forward to seeing her smiling in heaven. Prayers and blessings on you, Caitlin and Joshua.

Quentin, Caitlin, and Joshua-
I will always call her Ms. Unruh! When I was growing up, outside of my parents she was the one who impacted me the most. I loved her as my teacher in 3rd and 4th grade! I have so many wonderful memories of her from my childhood-she made learning my multiplication facts so fun! She had wonderful art activities! Her classroom was warm and cozy. The books she read aloud to us were magical. I still have Christmas ornaments she made me. She couldn’t wait to get married and be a mom. She inspired me to be a teacher and a wife and a mom. Then when I had my own kids she inspired me to homeschool them and she was the one to give me my first resources and give me direction. On one of the saddest days of my life she drove to my house and sat with me on the deck encouraging me as my one year old napped and my two others hunted worms after the big storm we had had. I couldn’t even think but she talked me through what to do. She showed up when I needed someone and told me to consider your family as my family. She sure loved people well and she also loved and shined Jesus.
I’ve been praying for you guys.

Lisa was well aware of what Christ instructs in Matthew 28 to “Go and make disciples” and I am sure as she entered heaven she was greeted with these words of affirmation “Well done my good and faithful child”!!
