Obituary
Nathan “Nate” David Greiner, an electrician and life-long resident of Minnesota, sadly passed away on June 25th, 2019, at the age of 40.
Nate was born on September 15th, 1978, to Brenda and David. He graduated from Minnesota West Community and Technical College in Canby, Minnesota with an A.A.S degree and worked as an electrician. His beautiful son was born in 2010. Nate and Amy became engaged Christmas 2018. He asked her if she wanted to spend the rest of their miserable lives together - she accepted, and he included two more beautiful stepchildren in his life. Nate’s immediate and extended family and friends were the most important part of his life, as well as his dog and best friend, Digger.
Nate was a devoted fiancé, father, and an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed fishing on the many lakes of Minnesota, especially the lake on his brother Jay’s land. He also enjoyed giving his sister Jodie a good-natured hard time. Nate just recently purchased a farm in Marietta, Minnesota, of which he was very proud, and that he and Amy and the kids were looking forward to turning into a home. Nate was also a very dedicated Vikings fan and never missed a game.
Nate is survived by his fiancé, Amy Parrow; son, Leo; stepchildren, Lillie, and Lucas; parents David Greiner and Brenda Reuter; Brenda's husband, Tom; brother and sister-in-law, Jay and KC Ellis; sister and brother-in-law, Jodie and Dave Scheeler; grandmother, Carol Greiner; and his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-niece, and great-nephews.
Nate is preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman Greiner and Richard and Hazel Moe; great grandmother, Vivian Lambertson (Great Grandma Lamb); and his aunt, Lucille Welu.
