Service Information
Orville “Duke” Beilke, husband of Janet Beilke, age 78, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at 1:00 P.M. at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, with spring interment.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 12:00-1:00 P.M., one hour prior to the service, at the church.
Obituary
Orville “Duke” Beilke was born on May 7, 1940, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was the son of Henry and Anna (Albrecht) Beilke. Orville was baptized as an infant on May 27, 1940, by Reverend Krueger, and was confirmed in his Lutheran Faith on May 30, 1954, by Reverend Beck, both at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cedar Mills, Minnesota. He received his early education at St. John’s Parochial School in Cedar Mills. Orville was a graduate of the Hutchinson High School Class of 1958.
On October 13, 1963, Orville was united in marriage to Janet Hagen by Pastor Raedeke at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. This marriage was blessed with one child, Tammy. Orville and Janet made Hutchinson their home. They shared 55 years of marriage.
Orville began his work life at Corvuso Meats. He then went on to work for Hutchinson Creamery, Junker Sanitation, and lastly Hansen Gravel, where he retired in 2004. Orville was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.
Orville enjoyed fishing, hunting, old-time dancing, playing Pinochle and Farkle, doing crossword puzzles, mowing the lawn, and tending his garden which was rich in tomatoes and cucumbers. He especially cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
Orville passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at the Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson, at the age of 78 years.

Wife, Janet Beilke, of Hutchinson, MN;
Daughter, Tammy Beilke of Hutchinson, MN;
Sister-In-Law, Dolly Beilke, of Clear Water, MN;
Many other relatives and friends.
Orville is preceded in death by his Parents, Henry and Anna Beilke; Brother, Gordon; Sister, Leona, in infancy.
