Rose Marie Tanke, age 86, of Hamburg, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Good Samaritan Society in Waconia, Minnesota.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Hamburg, Minnesota, with interment following at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018, from 10:00-11:00 A.M., one hour prior the service at the church.
Obituary
Rose Marie Pearl Tanke was born on January 15, 1932, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Herman and Selma (Bruesehoff) Tanke. Rose Marie was baptized as an infant on January 31, 1932, by Rev. H.J. Bouman at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Hamburg, Minnesota, and later was confirmed in her faith as a youth on April 14, 1946, by Rev. L.J. Zohlfirt at Emanuel Lutheran Church.
Rose Marie made her home on the family farm with her parents in Hamburg. After her father passed away, she and her mother moved to Westview Acres in Waconia. After her mother passed away she moved to Bethesda Lutheran Communities in Victoria, Minnesota, where she was cared for with respect, dignity and love. She was a lifelong member of Emanuel Lutheran Church.
Rose Marie loved embroidery, outings to go shopping and the Dairy Queen.
A special thank you to the staff at Bethesda Lutheran Communities, Ridgeview Hospice and Good Samaritan Society in Waconia, Minnesota, where she passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, at the age of 86 years, 5 months and 7 days.

Rose Marie is survived by many Cousins, Other relatives and friends.
Rose Marie is preceded in death by her Parents, Herman and Selma Tanke.
Memorials preferred to Emanuel Lutheran Church and Bethesda Lutheran Communities.

Michael & family-Thank you for you message. I know that you and your family were near and dear to the Tanke’s, but yes Rose Marie is in a better place now. Although since move to the Bethesda Homes in Victoria, she was able to do may things that you and I take for granted, and she enjoyed it. May God’s Blessings be with you. Anna May Oelfke
