Timothy “Tim” Pinske, age 71, of Plato, Minnesota, passed away Wednesday, July 18th, 2018, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018, 1:30 P.M. at Church of St. Pius X in Glencoe, Minnesota, with interment following at the Glencoe Catholic Cemetery in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Monday, July 23, 2018, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe, Minnesota.

(Due to construction the church is accessible from the east on 11th Street. You may park in the Glencoe City Center parking lots or street parking on 11th Street. The east City Center parking lot is accessible from 11th and 12th Streets and the west City Center parking lot is accessible from 12th Street.)
Obituary
Timothy “Tim” John Pinske was born on December 19, 1946, in Shakopee, Minnesota. He was the son of Robert and Janet (Holcomb) Pinske. Timothy was baptized as an infant on January 19, 1947, and later was confirmed in his faith as a youth on June 18, 1958, both at St. George Catholic Church in Glencoe, Minnesota. He attended Plato Elementary School and then graduated with the Glencoe High School Class of 1964.
On December 26, 1964, Tim was united in marriage to Marlys Donnay in Glencoe, Minnesota. He was a lifelong resident of Plato, where Tim and Marlys made their home. Their marriage was blessed with three sons, Brian, Karl, and John. Tim and Marlys shared over 53 years of marriage.
Tim owned and operated Plato Woodwork in Plato. He was the fourth generation of Pinske woodworkers, which began in 1893. He was a faithful member of Church of St. Pius X in Glencoe. Tim was also a member of the Plato Lions, where he served as the Charter President and a member of the Plato Fire Department.
Tim was passionate about Standardbred horse racing. His father introduced him to horse racing as a youngster and he in turn introduced his sons. The Pinske Stables horses race across the country. They are winter trained at Southern Oaks Training Center in Florida, another of Tim’s business ventures.
Tim also enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s events. He cherished time spent with his family and friends.
Tim passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson, Minnesota, at the age of 71 years, 6 months and 29 days. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Blessed be his memory.

Mother-In-Law, Leona Donnay of Glencoe, MN;
Sister-In-Law, Gloria Oltmann of Plato, MN;
Brother-In-Law, Thomas Donnay and his wife, Jolene, of Derby, KS;
Nephews, nieces, other relatives, and many friends.
Timothy was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Edward and Sidonia Pinske and Archie and Patricia Holcomb; Parents, Robert and Janet Pinske; Sons, Brian Pinske and John Pinske; Father-In-Law, Cyril Donnay; Daughter-In-Law, Brandy Pinske; Sister, Mary Ellen Pinske; Brother-In-Law, Bruce C. Donnay; Nephew, Spencer Oltmann.

The family invites everyone to the luncheon at the Glencoe City Center, directly north of the church, immediately following the committal service.

Tim will be missed by everyone for the nice guy he was and was well respected by everyone. He was a wonderful horsemen and was a mentor to many in the Harness Racing industry, I am proud to have know him and want to express my sympathy to his family.
