Helen Oelfke, age 86 , of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021, at The Gardens of Winsted in Winsted, Minnesota.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 7, 2021, 11:00 A.M. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in rural Hamburg, Minnesota, with interment following at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 7, 2021, from 10:00-11:00 A.M., one-hour prior the service at the church.

Obituary
Helen Ella (Aul) Oelfke was born on August 11, 1934, in Glencoe, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Carl Sr. and Anna Margaret (Idt) Aul. Helen was baptized as an infant on August 26, 1934, and later was confirmed in her faith as a youth on May 2, 1948, by Rev. E. Kolbe both at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota. She received her education in Glencoe, Minnesota, graduating with the Glencoe High School Class of 1952.
On September 10, 1955, Helen was united in marriage to Victor Paul Oelfke by Rev. A. H. Fellwock at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota. Helen and Victor made their home in Hamburg, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with four children, Vicki, John, Dean and Tammi. Helen and Victor shared over 34 years of marriage until Victor passed away on July 15, 1990.
Helen was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was an active member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Hamburg, Minnesota.
Helen enjoyed gardening, baking, embroidering, puzzles and word search books. Family was very important to her and she treasured the time spent with them, her friends and especially her grandchildren.
Helen passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at The Gardens of Winsted in Winsted, Minnesota, at the age of 86 years, 4 months and 23 days.

Great Grandchildren, Evangelina, Aurora, RaeLynn, Emberly;

Brother-In-Law, David Oelfke and his wife, Judy;

Helen was preceded in death by her Parents, Carl Sr. and Anna Aul; Husband, Victor Oelfke; Grandson, Mitchell Vorlicek; Siblings, Fred, Carl Jr., Henry, Victor, Anna, Molly, Katherine, Sophie, Marie; Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law, Fred and Hilda Oelfke; Brothers-In-Law and Sisters-In-Law, Clarence, Fred, Walter, Florence, Betty.
