Obituary
Jacob Marvin Duenow was born sleeping on October 18, 2020. He is the son of Benjamin and Catherine Duenow. For every life there is a story. Some stories are longer than others; but it can be surprising how much impact a life can have on others in a very short time. Benjamin and Catherine had a miracle. They experienced the wonderful anticipation of another child, to hear the heartbeat of a new life, saw the ultrasound pictures of their son, and felt the movement of an active baby. They shared their excitement and anticipation with family and friends who started loving this baby even though none of us had even met him yet.
Jacob had a personality even though he had a very short time to express it during his prenatal development. That is an experience that a father and mother never forget; an opportunity to feel connected to the life growing within his mother. He had tiny fingers, feet and toes that will never be forgotten. On the day of his birth, Jacob’s parents were able to hold him and say good-bye.
Jacob Marvin Duenow took a piece of our hearts with him to heaven. Now we all feel like our hearts need to mend and we need all of you to help us.

My sympathies to your family. I do not know you, but our family had this loss this April. Our hearts are still and will always be broken and feel this loss of the anticipation and dreams we had for their family. Last week I read what my niece wrote about her perfect daughter. “She was too perfect for this world.” I find comfort and feel love in those words she wrote. I hope they will help you too.
