Service Information
Jess Reinert, son of Josie Rosenow, age 43, of Austin, Texas, formerly of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on February 19, 2019 at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 9:00-11:00 A.M. two hours prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Jess Reinert was born on November 26, 1975, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was the son of Paul Reinert and Josie (Farenbaugh) Rosenow. Jess was baptized as an infant in the Catholic faith. As a youth he attended St. Anastasia Catholic School, and later attended Hutchinson High School. Jess received his GED in May of 1994.
Jess grew up in the Hutchinson area. In July 1998, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he lived for 12 years. He held employment at various casino’s, bars and restaurants. In 2010, he moved to Austin, Texas, where he was employed at the Moody Theater (Austin City Limits venue) by Ferace Beverage LLC. Jess worked in the food, beverage and entertainment industry for 20 years, managing all aspects.
Jess enjoyed all types of music, from classic rock, blues, to country. He loved his collection of guitars. He also enjoyed traveling; with trips to Alaska, New York, Maui, Mexico and Europe; and many snowboarding trips to Whistler, British Columbia; Brian Head, Utah; Mammoth, California; and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
He lived life to the fullest, never slowing down. As a youth, he enjoyed riding horse, snowmobiling, riding motorcycle and causing mischief. Later he loved to cook, entertain, play his guitars and listen to music. He was a faithful Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan, and enjoyed watching all sports. He was a loving son, brother, partner and friend.
Jess passed away from complications of liver cancer on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at the University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 43 years. Held with love by his mom and partner Courtney.
