Service Information
Margie Borman, age 92, of Gaylord passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Oak Terrace Health Care Center in Gaylord.
Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at 11:00 A.M., at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Gaylord.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Obituary
Margie Jennie Borman was born on July 3, 1928, in Gaylord, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Melvin and Clara (Dietz) Borman. Margie was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth. She received her education in Gaylord. Except for a short stint living at the YWCA in Minneapolis, Margie was a lifelong resident of Gaylord.
Margie was employed at Citizens State Bank in Gaylord for 40 years, retiring in 1994.
Margie was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Gaylord.
Always fashionably dressed, Margie loved to shop, travel and eat out. She also enjoyed playing bingo and watching the Minnesota Twins Baseball team and Minnesota Vikings Football team. She doted on her nieces and nephews.
When she needed assistance with her daily care, Margie became a resident of Oak Terrace Health Care Center in Gaylord in 2016, and passed away there on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at the age of 92 years. Blessed be her memory.
Margie is survived by her:
Nieces, Pati Peterson, Paula (Jeff) Lee, Lisa (Tony) Martinson and Lara Anderson;
Nephews, Tom (Monica) Borman and Mike (Barb) Borman;
Many great nieces, great nephews and three great-great nephews.
Margie was preceded in death by her Parents, Melvin and Clara Borman; Brothers, Melvin “Sonny” Borman and Tom Borman; Nephew, Mark (Mary) Borman; and her beloved poodle, Candy.
